This special Synthesis Session is designed to summarize workshop findings and to initiate a dialogue on shaping an adaptation research agenda for supporting improved management of the risks and opportunities associated with climate, now and in the future. The session will broaden participation in the process of defining the needs for, and the direction of, further research into expanding adaptation decision options in the face of varying and changing climate conditions.
